Re: A 24 hour prayer vigil for the UFCCM
Date: 6:00 PM Friday, December, 18 thru 6:00 PM Saturday, December 19, 2009, Eastern
Greetings to all of you in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I pray this letter finds you and your family well and prospering. May the blessing of the Lord ever be upon you.
I am calling for at least 24 volunteers to cover in prayer, a one hour slot, but the more volunteers the better. As leader of the UFCCM Intercessors Prayer Ministry Team, I will take the first hour. I'll also be praying with and for each of you, throughout the 24 hour period, as I know the other Bishops will also.
I know this is a busy time of year for everyone, but it's also a busy time for the UFCCM, as we are experiencing new and exciting growth. This is an awesome time to be a part of what God is doing in our midst and to bring the gifts and abilities we each have to advance the Kingdom. One of the gifts we all possess is the ability to pray in faith and believe God will hear and answer our requests. With that in mind, I have been asked by Bishop Tindal to organize an intercessory prayer vigil for the UFCCM. This is a glorious opportunity for the fellowship to come together, united in a common cause and watch God do truly GREAT things!
Please let me know if you'd like to be a part of this awesome event. My contact information is above, and I'm certain we'll have more than 24 volunteers who will participate. Send your name, phone number, and email so that I can compile a list. If you have a preference as to a time slot you'd like, please let me know. However, from the list, I'll make certain all slots are filled, and will contact each volunteer to confirm their time.
Let me thank you in advance for your willingness to be a part of this endeavor. We will all be blessed as we join our hearts and release our faith. Remember God's Word: "Confess your faults one to another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." James 5:16 Also, "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." Matthew 18:19
Yours in His service,
Bishop K
